Send Much Needed Supplies To Cats Every Month

Shelters and other groups that help save, support and rescue cats are in constant need of supplies! Financial resources are focused on providing shelter, healthcare and food to our favorite feline friends resulting in everyday items getting reused over and over, as kittens and cats pass through their doors. The everyday items they are able to provide get used so much that as a result many end up broken, worn out, or simply run out completely. Let's help them replenish their supply, every month, to ensure that cats have a comfortable stay as they await their forever family.

Every month your subscription will send the item of your choice to help cats in need.

Items that you help provide include a bowl for food or water. Bowls get dirty, and worn out, so more are always needed. A bag of treats helps with training and provide a tasty snack. Blankets, toys, cat scratchers and cat castles bring comfort and encourage play for a cat or kitten. All of these resources together help support a happy cat; and a happy cat is much more likely to be adopted!

The items provided are also a huge asset for when a cat or kitten moves into their new home. They will have something familiar with them as they get acclimated to their new home and can adjust faster to their new surroundings.

A story from Heather Allen of HALO Animal Rescue about how these donations help and why they mean so much: 

Right around the same time that we received the wonderful donation from Greater Good, we received 21 cats from a partner shelter that was struggling with an overflow of cats and kittens. A big way to relieve stress in cats is by providing them with thick, soft bedding, an item to scratch their claws on, and a box to hide in. Our kitties received gorgeous purple blankets that fold up tot he perfect size for our cat kennels, allow us to place them on top of their beds. Research shows that to get the best REM sleep, cats need a bed with a few inches of cozy padding and these blankets made them purrfect. In addition, we received disposable scratching posts that we attached right to their kennel doors so each kitty had sometime to relieve tension as they stretched and clawed. They can also take them home when they get adopted, allowing them to have sometime with a familiar scent as they acclimate to their new home.
