Send Crates to Animals: Provide Comfort & Safety

There is a desperate need for crates at shelters, rescues and other animal organizations. 

Crates are expensive and are often a luxury for these establishments, while they focus their financial resources on shelter and food for pets in need.

There are so many invaluable uses for crates:

• Expand sheltering capacity
• Create temporary animal shelters
• Assist families in containing their pets if they are displaced because of a disaster.
• Hold animals before and after surgery to ensure they healing. 
• Shelters and rescues will loan out crates to pet foster parents who watch over an animal until they find their forever home. The crate provides a place where they can feel safe and cozy. A crate helps with the transition from place to place and helps a pet acclimate to each new environment.
• In foster homes crates help with crate training so the pet is ready when they move on to their forever home.
• Some crates may be used on Flights To Freedom to transport pets from shelter to shelter so they have a better chance of finding their forever home. 
• Send a blanket to go in a crate to keep a pet cozy, warm and feeling safe as they travel or await their forever home.
