Chica was taken in as a stray by animal control. This sweet, playful girl had her whole future ahead of her—until a heartbreaking incident left her badly injured. Another dog grabbed her foot, causing severe damage to her leg.Â
Despite initial treatment, the injury is too great, and Chica faces the sad necessity of a leg amputation. However, with amputation and proper care, she’ll be able to adapt and thrive on three legs.
