Funded: Emaciated Dogs Rescued from War-Torn Village Need Your Support to Survive
Update:Â Lou and Barb are slowly gaining weight, thanks to your support and the amazing care from Krystina and her team.Â
They can stand and walk on their own as their strength starts to return. Thank you for helping them get the second chance they deserve.
Krystina and fellow rescuers entered a village near the frontlines in Ukraine to rescue two starving dogs.Â
They found the Cane Corso and Doberman (who we are calling Lou and Barb) with every bone in their bodies showing and saw two other deceased dogs in the same yard.Â
The dogs are barely able to stand from malnutrition and need immediate care.Â
Both dogs were rescued and brought back to the shelter to be examined and started slowly on food. Due to the prolonged starvation, they have a long road to recovery and need your support.Â
Help save these emaciated dogs.
You can help these dogs get the treatment they need to heal. Your gift will give them the hope to keep fighting, as well as help to cover their ongoing care.
Greater Good Charities works to provide emergency medical care to pets in shelters across the country and meet other critical needs, including food, supplies, transportation, sterilization, and disaster relief. With your donation, you can help save the lives of animals like these dogs by covering their care.
Help us meet our goal of $7,000 for these dogs and animals like them.Â
