Funded: Help Senior Cat Monet Recover from a Collapsed Lung
Update:Â After weeks of intensive medication and monitoring, Monet's body started to regulate and heal. Thanks to your support and the amazing care from her foster, she is doing well. She will need to remain on heart medication.Â
Monet has found a loving home with her foster family and is so grateful for your support.
Monet was surrendered after spending years without regular veterinary care. Shortly after arriving, she became critically ill, struggling to breathe and refusing food.
Doctors determined that Monet has a partially collapsed lung caused by a previous injury or illness. Scar tissue from the damage is pressing against her heart, forcing it to work harder than it should. Monet remains hospitalized as she undergoes diagnostic testing and receives medication to stabilize her condition and manage the strain on her heart.
Monet is responding to treatment and with continued medical support, she is expected to keep improving. Your support can help ensure Monet continue to receive the care she needs in this critical stage of recovery.
Monet’s lung injury is affecting her heart, and her recovery is still underway.
You can help Monet get the treatment she needs to heal. Your gift will not only give her the hope to keep fighting, but your donations will help cover her ongoing care.
Greater Good Charities works to provide emergency medical care to pets in shelters around the world and meet other critical needs, including food, supplies, transportation, sterilization, and disaster relief. With your donation, you can help save the lives of animals like these by covering their care.
