Janet was just a puppy when she was rescued from the LA fires. Though she escaped the flames, she suffered a leg injury, so when volunteers stepped in, they realized she needed urgent medical attention.

After several x-rays and exams, it was clear Janet’s injury was beyond repair, and she would need an amputation. Surgery, pain management, and careful post-op monitoring are now essential to her recovery.
