Upon arrival at the Lancaster Animal Shelter, it was clear he hadn't been cared for in a long time. He was covered in filth and had stains likely from his own urine. His nails were so long that they were painful to walk on. He had irritation in his paws and arthritis, a sign that he had limited mobility and wasn't able to exercise.Â
