Update: Thanks to your support and dedicated caretakers, Pierre has healed. The infected wounds were treated daily and Pierre was such a good boy for it all. The shelter shared, "It was a long and difficult process for Pierre, but finally the wounds healed."

Pierre and his siblings were rescued from the streets of Guatemala. Pierre had painfully infected wounds on his back, and he was rushed to a veterinary hospital for care.

Pierre’s wounds are too infected to stitch closed, so he's being treated with wound cleanings, topical creams and a protective suit to help him heal. 

Pierre is safe and undergoing treatment for his injuries, but he needs ongoing medical care to ensure his recovery. Help him fully overcome this setback and continue his care.
